Hi, my name is Taylor! I am eighteen years old and a senior from Orange County, California. Since my first point-and-shoot camera, I have fallen in love with photography. Besides photography, I love to play soccer and lacrosse, play with my two dogs, go to the beach, hike and more!

Cyanotypes:

-At the end of my sophomore year, I learned about cyanotypes and fell in love. Once the paper was coated in the cyanotype mixture and dried in a dark room, I laid the sky scape negative over top and exposed it to the sun. This took a lot of trial and error to find just the right amount of time for image to develop, but not be over-exposed. Then, I washed the paper with water and citric acid solution and watched the bright blue colors emerge. With all the different shades and exposures of cyanotypes, I decided to create a collage of the skyline from the different shades of cyanotype blue.
